Serving the country comes in different ways. You can already serve your country even while you are continuing your daily activities and trying to be a good citizen. However, for some, they go the extra mile by signing up in the army, navy, air force, marines and other forms of military service. If you are interested in the air force unit then you must acquainted with the pilot uniforms. There are different styles and designs of the patches which you must learn so you can differentiate each by rank, unit, division, brigade, battalion or other smaller special unit. Patches are usually worn to do this and they are placed in front of the uniform, helmets, vests, shoulders or sleeves. The colors are chosen well so as not to attract the attention of the enemy but are worn with pride and dignity. They convey messages and attitudes.
You must also know that pilots require special skills because they will be driving an aircraft thousands of feet above the ground. A single mistake can lead them to crash and is very fatal. However, mastering the skills of being a pilot is a huge achievement and gives off an adrenaline rushing feeling of speed and control. They also use a different kind ff map which is called the world aeronautical chart that is set on a 13.7 in per 1 inch. Although is has less detail than the sectional chart, it still effectively provides important information for strategic flight planning as well as topographical information, radio and airport navigational aids.
